Luffa is a genus of herbaceous vines of the Pumpkin family. It is its dried fruits that are used as a natural body scrubber or dishwashing detergent. Accordingly, at the end of the period of use, the washcloth must be sent to the compost. It is well ventilated and therefore does not absorb odors. It is durable, as needed, you can boil it once a month or just pour it over with boiling water. One loofah, depending on the intensity of use, lasts 2-3 months (much more for a shower). A washcloth in warm water gets wet and swells, becomes moderately elastic. When washing dishes, the non-stick coating will not damage, and when used for washing the body, it has a slight scrubbing effect.
